Spreading Sunshine Through T-Shirts and Hoodies!

Aprons are the heart of Suzie Sews Sunshine, but to build a sustainable foundation that allows us to keep spreading light and hope, we are expanding in a new way. I am excited to introduce uplifting Suzie Sews Sunshine t-shirts. These designs carry the same message of sunshine, encouragement, and support for suicide prevention that guides everything I do.

 

T-shirts are now live on the website and will be shipped directly to you through a trusted third-party partner. A limited number will also be available in person at fairs and markets throughout the year.

Every stitch is a smile! Each upcycled or vintage-inspired apron, parent-child coordinating apron set, holiday apron, children’s smock, or child clothing item is dated and paired with a bit of good news from that day. Spreading sunshine is what we do—one happy thread at a time. 100% of proceeds go to organizations (such as StopSoldierSuicide.org) working to prevent veteran suicide, in memory of my brother, a proud Marine. Suzie Sews Sunshine Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Arizona that combines creativity, community, and compassion through sewing education and handcrafted goods. Our mission is to spread hope and sunshine while supporting suicide prevention efforts through outreach, education, and service.

We offer sewing lessons for children, teens, and adults of all skill levels in a welcoming and encouraging environment. Students learn sewing basics, fabric knowledge, machine skills, and creative project construction while building confidence and practical life skills. Whether you are brand new to sewing or looking to expand your abilities, classes are designed to inspire creativity and connection.

In addition to sewing lessons, the foundation creates handmade aprons, children’s and baby clothing, accessories, home goods, and other sewn items. Some products are created using repurposed and upcycled materials. Every purchase supports our mission, with proceeds helping fund suicide prevention awareness and outreach efforts.
