Spreading Sunshine, One Stitch at a Time

Suzie Sews Sunshine creates handmade aprons and textiles that brighten homes, nurture families, and spread hope—each stitch supporting suicide prevention and honoring lives with compassion and joy.

Spreading Sunshine Through T-Shirts and Hoodies!

Aprons are the heart of Suzie Sews Sunshine, but to build a sustainable foundation that allows us to keep spreading light and hope, we are expanding in a new way. I am excited to introduce uplifting Suzie Sews Sunshine t-shirts. These designs carry the same message of sunshine, encouragement, and support for suicide prevention that guides everything I do.

 

T-shirts are now live on the website and will be shipped directly to you through a trusted third-party partner. A limited number will also be available in person at fairs and markets throughout the year.

Every stitch is a smile! Each upcycled or vintage-inspired apron, parent-child coordinating apron set, holiday apron, children’s smock, or child clothing item is dated and paired with a bit of good news from that day. Spreading sunshine is what we do—one happy thread at a time. 100% of proceeds go to organizations (such as StopSoldierSuicide.org) working to prevent veteran suicide, in memory of my brother, a proud Marine. More than Handmade

At Suzie Sews Sunshine, love is stitched into everything we create. From handmade aprons and bowl cozies to baby clothing, children’s outfits, and matching mommy and me pieces, every item is designed to bring beauty, comfort, and purpose into everyday life. We also create stuffed gnomes and seasonal sewn items that make thoughtful gifts and meaningful keepsakes.

Many of our pieces celebrate simple moments that bring people together, whether it is cooking in the kitchen, crafting at the table, or dressing little ones in something made with care.

To help spread our message even further, we also offer uplifting T shirts and hoodies produced by a trusted third party. Every handmade item is created with intention, heart, and the hope that it carries a little extra sunshine into the world.

Most importantly, every purchase helps support suicide prevention. What begins as fabric and thread becomes something greater, a small act of hope, healing, and kindness shared with others.
